When I got this car for $15 it had a freshly rebuilt 2.8 V6 which needed some carb work. I didn't even drive it before I swapped out the 2.8 in favor of a 1990 5.0L H.O. mustang engine. I've ported the E7TE heads and installed 1-5/8 long tube headers and a 2.5" X piped dual exhaust with 40 series flowmasters. The car also has a a fully baffled aluminum fuel cell and a 190 LPH fuel system. The rear axle is a five lug unit from a 1983 Toyota 2wd pickup. It was a great strength upgrade, and bolted in. The standard rear end had 3.09 gears, the Toyota has 3.73 ratio.
